Be apart of an international design team working with Philips marketing and strategy to frame business opportunities and to define, test, and improve customer-centric value propositions and marketing strategies.
By using our specific toolkit of design thinking methods, we are able to envisage new future directions for Philips – think of customer journeys, future scenarios, IP generation, and processes to develop value propositions and future business positions.
You are responsible for
Facilitating Philips business teams using design thinking methodologies.
Identify, propose, and design solutions that bring together software, products, and services.
Support the creation and testing of solution value propositions and definition of new customer experiences aligned to business objectives and areas of strategic growth.
Be a hands-on facilitation and design process expert – shaping engagements, advising Philips teams, and coaching others in design thinking.
Defining and creating tangible expressions of new value propositions and strategies through customer journey mapping, storyboarding, and directing the creation of experiential prototypes as appropriate to gather stakeholder input and customer feedback.
Communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at both an individual and group level.
Build relationships and appropriately influence relevant internal teams and direct business contacts to achieve short- and long-term goals.
Excited to work with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds.
Strong facilitation skills, comfortable working directly with executive-level teams.
You are part of
The Philips Experience Design team, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working with hospitals and health systems across the healthcare continuum to improve patient and staff outcomes and experiences.
The Philips Experience Design global creative force of some 400+ professionals is located in our Design studios in Europe, North America and Asia.
You will be part of an amazing cross-disciplinary team that includes architects & interior designers, product design, interaction design, service design, people research, communication design, and project management.
As part of the Cambridge team, you will be co-located with product managers, R&D scientists and business leaders defining the future of many of Philips’ businesses.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Bachelor or Master degree in design thinking, design research, service design, product design and/or business administration
A minimum 7 years relevant experience in design strategy, interaction and/or visual design, ideally in a consulting/agency environment
You are comfortable in a consulting environment, facilitating workshops and ongoing engagements with internal and external executive-level participants in a confident, productive manner
You understand the role design can play and how it can drive strategic growth for our customers
Strategic, systems thinker, with design and business mindset and background
Experience developing scopes, SOW’s and defining consulting engagements based on customer needs
Collaborative team player, self-motivated, pro-active thinker.
