LCCA currently has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Full Time Social Worker.

Key Responsibilities include:

Responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.

Assists law enforcement, family members and others with the admission process, both voluntary and involuntary.

Makes referrals to community resources as appropriate.

Coordinates discharge planning through the medical staff.

The Social Worker is expected to function as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the community relations program of the organization.

Participates in continuous performance improvement activities.

Communicates with outpatient referral sources, families/guardians, and outpatient aftercare providers.

Regulatory Requirements

Masters Degree in Social Work

Currently licensed as a behavioral science professional.

A minimum of two (2) years experience in a supervised clinical behavioral health care setting preferred.
