We're looking for a talented Fleet Coordinator to help take Lyft's Fleet Line of Business to the next level.

In this role you will drive improvements in the current process of vehicle management in order to increase utilization and assist the Fleet Lead with vehicle & claims processing.

In one week, you could be building relationships with vendors to drive down maintenance costs, on the lot moving cars and helping to improve the flow of rental returns in the garage, or tracking claims adjustments with insurance companies to ensure payment and invoicing accuracy.

We're looking for someone who can think quickly, likes variety and can flex between working behind a desk and behind a wheel.

Own lot management to ensure organization and efficient vehicle flow

Support and train cross functional team members on fleet processes and ensure we are meeting all safety, security, and quality standards

Execute daily operation plans to achieve program metrics and standards, such as utilization, cost control and vehicle downtime

Proactively identify and flag vehicle issues, program challenges, and technical product bugs to Fleet Lead and internal partners

Become a knowledge expert in all aspects of the Lyft Fleet Line of Business operations

Manage, audit and track repair order process with internal and external Service and Maintenance vendors

Manage the accident claims process with both Internal and External partners

Assist with managing relationships with various internal/external partners to optimize vehicle quality and reduce vehicle downtime

Assist with managing the vehicle supply lifecycle; including but not limited to in-fleeting, decommissioning, and disposition

Be an all-around team player - jumping in where needed to help the team get cars rental ready - could include cleaning, moving cars, gassing, transport or working with renters

Experience & Skills:

Ability to multitask on a number of different fronts

Extremely process & detail oriented

Experience managing and maintaining relationships with vendors and partners

Intermediate knowledge of the automotive industry and vehicle components

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Ability to analyze, understand and speak on data trends

Excellent communication, verbal, and writing skills

Strong bias for action and willing to jump in when needed with a positive attitude

Has a valid CA driver's license and passes the California DMV background check

Ability to use basic hand tools

Capable of performing repeated physical actions and functions

Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs


The starting rate for this position is $26/hr
