This position is responsible for acquiring targeted CBSI programs (Managed, Dual & Independent) within the assigned customer accounts in the National Segment.
Also responsible for maintaining a thorough understanding of the industry and engaging in industry related events to gain CBSI visibility.
List of general activities, duties and/or tasks typically performed within the job
Acquisition of new CBSI programs (Managed, Dual & Independent).
This includes working closely with appropriate internal staff to identify, target, and pursue the acquisition of new investment programs.
Develop and implement acquisition strategies for identified targets.
Coordinate new acquisitions and associated training.
Develop and execute a formal multi-year business plan related to the acquisition of CBSI programs based on business priorities.
Use metrics and scorecards to measure productivity, sales discipline, quality, and achievement of financial results.
Analyze competitive positions and achieve targeted industry market share.
Maintain and incorporate thorough knowledge of competitive information.
Build library of competitive knowledge and industry best practices, including but not limited to: compensation, fees and expenses, tools and technology.
Develop a position of influence in the marketplace and effectively position CBSI programs.
Lead, develop and maintain marketing strategy for CBSI program acquisitions.
Coordinate with internal marketing team to build, maintain, and improve our marketing materials to include internal and external communication and marketing tools, electronic and web-related, creating image and visibility within the industry.
Report sales activities and prospects/contacts as directed; maintain sales activities in approved CRM tools.
Conduct self in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures of ethical market conduct with high standards of honesty, fairness, and integrity.
Speaker at industry events and exchange visits.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent work experience.
Proven success in selling in an institutional environment, including 5 10 years in a Broker Dealer environment.
Demonstrated experience to effectively build business relationships with internal and external clients, including executive level staff.
Demonstrated ability to deliver effective presentations.
Life, Health, and Variable insurance license.
FINRA Registrations: Securities Industry Essentials Examination, Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66 are required.
50% - 75% travel required.
Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.
Base Salary Range:
$105,000.00 - $175,000.00
